Almond Villas - Mental Health Rehabilitation.
The Almond Villas Group is comprised of three establishments in Blackburn. The group provides residential rehabilitation for adults recovering from enduring mental health problems.
Almond Villas was the first home to be opened by Marilyn (registered manager for the scheme) and Geoff Clarke in November 1987. Lancaster House and 19 Pritchard Street were opened during he next two years and our Community Aftercare Service was established in 1999. The staff team includes designated managers responsible for the operation of each home, a business manager responsible for referrals, a Community Services Manager, a Care Plan Co-ordinator, Keyworkers, Support Workers, Counsellors, Administrators and a Health and Safety Co-ordinator.
Our philosophy is to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for adults with mental health problems within a comfortable homely setting. We have a reputation for excellent service and a strong ethos of providing rehabilitation programmes which optimise service user development and reintegration into the community.
Our staff are a friendly, dedicated team, who have a wide range of skills, experience and qualifications. We accept referrals for both males and females in the age range 18 to 65, although the majority of our current service users are young adults.
Care Standards
Almond Villas respect the principles of the National Care Standards and aim to achieve the outcomes of these standards for all our residents. It is our belief that we should provide the best mental health care and rehabilitation possible.
